hi Linda! thanks for stopping by! thanks for your kind words~ you are so sweet! my story~in a nutshell~ i decided to leave my husband of 17 years~ & he has absolutely TURNED on me~ doing anything & EVERYTHING he can to CRUSH me~
no no! NOT going to let him! I am BIGGER than that & I am finally FREE of his control, manipulation & emotional & verbal abuse~

It's been a long and winding road to get to where my heart has always been. After working many years and then raising three amazing and beautiful children (baby now in 1st grade). I'm finally pursuing art which I have always loved.

After having my second child, I stumbled upon a television show featuring Trumpe L'oeil painting. It awakened a talent and desire I had felt many years ago. Immediately I began painting murals and decorative accents in homes and businesses throughout central Pennsylvania. However, upon the arrival of my third child, it became increasingly impossible to find time and energy to paint away from home. It was at this time I began experimenting with oil paint on canvas. Adopting a style that is warm and cozy like many homes I have painted, my cache' of paintings has grown to what you see here today plus many I have sold to new and old customers alike.

My artistic abilities have been harnessed throughout my life time. The eighth of eleven children, when I needed some peace and quiet I often found myself in a room away from it all, drawing, painting and creating.

I use art as a way to balance out my busy life. It is my method to help keep life in perspective and self-fullfillng. My husband and my children are my biggest inspiration. I recognized my children in my signature on my paintings, GEM (first initial of each child's name).

I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoyed bringing it to you.
